This cover song was written by Jerry Lynn Williams. The video was created from clips of a home movie recorded at The Barn in July 2003. At this time Al Sutton was the lead singer in the band. We had previously recorded the song live in our studio, which we used for the audio. No overdubs were added. This video synchronization is the best we could do with the limited video we have.
In August 2003 Al was assaulted and spent over two months in the hospital. He is lucky and glad to be alive, but will never completely recover from the injuries he suffered. One vocal cord is still paralyzed, but Al has persevered and learned to speak and sing with just one. So far this is our only video featuring Al on lead vocals.
Mel Little was still playing keyboards with the Sutton Brothers during this period.

This song was recorded live at The Barn. It was written by Steve Miller and released in 1976 on the Steve Miller Band’s album, also titled Fly Like An Eagle. Tim Nunn used a Roland Space Echo on the guitar solos. This machine used a tape loop to produce echo effects, before the days of digital recording and effects.
